CrunchGear is live at CES 2009 attending the Palm keynote. What can we expect? New hardware, a new OS, and potentially a branding strategy that will move them far from everything we used to know about Palm.

The interest level seems really high for this one…
I am awaiting the release….I have a Treo 650, and it has been giving me issue with the touchscreen part…but I have had it since 2005, so I cannot complain about it but I am interested in this new phone. I almost bought a blackberry storm and I am glad that I did not buy it last week…so let us pray that it is better and that Verizon has it available for us on “The Network.” LOL…

This new new ScribbleLive system is pretty neat…
Where can I find news feeds where the reporters just report the facts, not “we predicted”, “oh shit”, “here it comes” and “red hot, folks!” type commentary?
buy a newspaper
great coverage, thanks so much!
Sprint will haveit before Verizon
Que bien por Palm “el resurgir”
looks pretty cool to me. if Verizon gets it, both companies stand a chance.. looking for a pic of the keyboard.
As a former Palm-ie (yes, I san on a cubicle there, when HQ was located at McCarthy Ranch in Milpitas) I’ve always had fond memories of Palm (Palm One when I was there)
Ah, I remember my first time, when I was a PDA virgin. And this very exotic secretary came close to me (very, very close) and whispered in my ear: “The boss wants to order you a new Treo 600″ It felt like a hard reset without taking out my battery!!!
I remember the launch of the Treo 650. A camera on a phone!!! What a concept!!! I filled up my device and my 256MB SD card in 20 minutes!!!!
Then it came….the Angelina Jolie of the smart phones……Treo 700. I can still remember the face of the cute Vietnamese chick at Sprint when I went in for the first time to get my phone activated. Her look of “Another Geek Wasting My Time” was really hiding her true feelings. She was actually thinking: “Oh, Tostada-man. Please remove my battery, press and hold my Power/End button until my Logo comes up. And if you ask me if I want you to erase all my data, I will scream YES, YES, Yes, baby…”
I can’t believe I’m using a BB now. I moved from Angelina Jolie to Amy Winehouse because I couldn’t wait for Nova.
I should get the “digital crabs” for being unfaithful.

Thanks for the excellent coverage of Palm’s future. Product seems very exciting. Its a good thing my current contract ends mid 2009.
Thanks for the updates, but some more detail would have been nice.
Come on, where are the udpates? I saw the stunning product presentation - Wow!!!!
I loved that charger without wires, deck of card applications which can be flicked through, beautifully smooth touch screen gestures, and smooth integration between all the applications.
