Sony’s Cyber-shot DSC-G3 point-and-shoot digital camera not only has built-in Wi-Fi, but it also has its own Web browser. Guess that makes uploading your photos to the Internet a little easier.

The camera itself is a 10-megapixel one, with a 4X optical zoom. So, nothing too out of the ordinary, then.

It’ll upload to “popular” photo and (video) sharing site; Sony mentions Picassa and Shutterfly, but presumably you’d be able to upload to Facebook and Flickr, the [other] two big ones.

Sony even throws in a few years of free AT&T Wi-Fi access, the kind you’d find at Starbucks. Free access lasts till January, 2012.

One small issue: price. It’s a little steep at $500 (but it’s available now). Seems to me EyeFi would be a much cheaper way to approximate the experience.
