No, you’re not seeing things! That’s Peter Ha (and Pop 17’s Sarah Austin) on G4’s Attack of the Show trying very hard to look excited about the Palm Pre. He does a bang-up job!
In this segment, Peter admits that he’s all but ready to ditch his iPhone 3G and BlackBerry (Bold, I think) for the Pre, which must mean that Palm will win everyone’s Best of CES 2009 award. For if Palm can pry Peter away from his precious BlackBerry then the world is its for the taking.
And look who’s lurking in the background!

But yes, if the early response is any indication I think it’s safe to say Palm will have a fruitful 2009.

The interface must be something wonderful because the look of the phone doesn’t do it for me.
Peter…you are so HOT! Seriously though good job. I used to carry a Palm Treo 750w, now I have a Blackberry Storm.
I like the storm but there are things about it I wish were different. Its definitely not my end game phone. I like the iPhone better but the AT&T part of it is a deal killer because a coworker of mine has one and constantly complains about the coverage (well…the lack of coverage).
Im interested to see how the Pre turns out. An endorsement by someone who has a bold and an iPhone is pretty high praise indeed.
Is Olivia Munn there and can I haz picture?
peter who ?
The pre looks like a fat touch.
The Palm Pre is a lot smaller than I initially thought it would be. A good size comparison would be an iPod classic with a big hard drive. In terms of thickness, it’s definitely not as thin as the iPhone, or even the bold, but it’s an acceptable size considering it’s a slider.
talk some more here http://www.PalmPreForum.org see ya
Holy shit Peter you’re semi-famous. By the way, that’s way different then a semi-hardon of which I have right now.
I’m not really impressed with the Palm Pre, I’m interested to see where it goes.
I’m stoked Crunchgear is on G4, two of my favorite things. Yes, i have something new for the spank bank.
This is the first phone to make the iPhone look old and outdated.
This is a very good review on Palm Pre. Another comeback for Palm. I saw another review and a couple of videos at the below link. Check out if anyone wants to know more:-
