The flexibility of the cradlepoint I think is a bit better. I take my USB 727 novatel verizon evdo stick and either use it directly on my notebook, or when I want to share, put it into the cradlepoint. Albeit the battery is about 1-2 hours, but I got an extra battery for about $10 on ebay. This also has a power adapter, and you can get a cigarette adapter for the car as well.
