Look what happens when you try to visit Microsoft’s Windows blog, in search of the Windows 7 beta.
In the Twittrverse we call this a failwhale. We even made a video poking fun at the phenomenon.
Hopefully Microsoft sorts this out; there’s gotta be more than a few people waiting to try out its new operating system.
It appears that even though the blog is down, the windows 7 page is still up but does not contain the download link.

if this was apple the same crap would be going on, but it would have made headlines on the news…..

Agree with JoeyJK. That was the first thing I thought about. If this was Apple the newsrooms would be whipping up stories on how demand was so high for Windows. Could even be also a story that Vista was so bad look at all the people trying to get their hands on its replacement.
