President-elect Obama, who’s about to inherit one hell of an economy, is a huge gamer. Actually, hold that: no he’s not. He does, however, play the occasional game of Wii Bowling with his daughters.

In other President-elect technology news, Obama told CNBC that he’s “still clinging to [his] BlackBerry” and that the Secret Service will have to “pry it out of [his] hands.”

The New York Times, or what’s left of it, says that Obama is the best spokesman that RIM has ever had. If it were a regular endorsement deal, like if Obama were a professional athlete, his contract would be worth something like $50 million. That’s David Beckham and Tiger Woods money right there.

Maybe Palm should consider throwing Obama a preview unit of the Pre.
