Truth is though Prius has some heavy duty technology under the skin and is not obvious and it's patented up the ying yang. Some of the patented bits are for ssale under license. Ford has licensed some. I think Honda out of pride won't license. The whole idea of a Tach on car like the Prius makes no sense, and the fact the Honda has a tach means they don't have a equivilent to the Prius Synergy drive. For something so much like a Prius yet 4-5 years new in technology you’d think it would smoke a Prius.
