Always download from a quality source otherwise you run the risk of installing a corrupt OS, same thing happens if you badly scratch an OS CD. BSOD can mean a number of things, but from experience it might have something to do with your BIOS setup or hardware as the majority of Win7 users all had no problem with their copy, because it's a beta there might be a driver issue with one of your connected devices or internal hardware, so it's a matter of process of elimination. @rob
