OCZ, makers of hardware for every budget, have released a new line of SSDs that are less expensive than their Vertex series, but more expensive than their Solid series. The midrange is often where you find the best bargains, and in flash-based memory, as we learned yesterday, you really want to avoid the low end.

The new line has three sizes, with prices accompanying:

  • 60GB, $200
  • 120GB, $370
  • 250GB, $850

Looks like the midrange is the best option there, although $370 for 120GB of space is laughable unless you really need those 230MB/sec read and 160MB/sec write speeds.
