North American Xbox 360 owners will be able to download the Resident Evil 5 demo on January 26. That’s free and clear: no weird hacking required.
In the meantime, I encourage you all to go through Resident Evil 4 one more time. It’s still fun, however many years it’s been.
The game comes out on March 13th. That’s a Friday the 13th, by the way.
As for PS3 owners, don’t know what to tell you regarding a PSN demo. Go play WipeOut HD, which, as I recently discovered, is fantastic.
UPDATE The demo hits the PS3 one week later. Microsoft must have dumped a boatload of cash into Capcom’s lap for a one-week exclusivity deal. Microsoft is the Manchester City of gaming.
