The HTC Fuze (see our review here) is on sale for a namby-pamby $149.99 with two-year contract. That’s a good deal for a device that had previously cost twice as much.

Business users, especially, might find the Fuze to be a good workhorse device as it’s got a pretty good keyboard, tons of software, a nice interface, and GPS. The $299 price tag seemed always seemed a bit high, but at $149 it’s not too difficult of a decision anymore.

  • This great deal is for new AT&T accounts only . . . but if you click on “Renew/Upgrade your phone” link on the left sidebar, you get an offer of $204.99 after an instant discount and rebate! Damn, and I just bought one last month for $299 after rebate :(

It’s okay, though, as I’ve been very pleased with the phone, it does everything I need it to do, and you can’t beat a physical keyboard. For anyone that buys one, be sure to check out http://www.fuzemobility.com for great tips, tricks and info on the Fuze.

  • Anthony… thanks for your post! But I can not seem to get this phone for the 204.99. I have an iphone, and want the fuze, but my renewal/upgrade date is 12.09.09… they want me to pay full price. How can I acquire the phone for the 204.99? Please help!! Thanks!!

  • Just bought a fuze and I’m anxiously awaiting shipment. It was hard to pass up a WM6.1 phone with all the great features. I’ve never owned a Smartphone before but I do own a Dell Axim X51V, although I unfortunately never get the full features out of the PDA since I can’t stand carrying it around with me everywhere. Getting the smartphone will solve that problem and I will actually be able to use one the way it was meant to be used. Now, if only amazon shipped on the weekends….
I hangout at http://www.HTCFuze.org see ya there.
