While i'm not sure about windows 7, the tip for shifting between screens in windows vista is ALT+TAB; WIN is for opening up the programs panel. On a side note, MovieMaker is the best free video editing software that I have tried, and I update to my videos to youtube regularly.

Regarding CTRL+SHIFT+ESC, it's a hotkey that also works on Windows XP and Windows 2000 to launch the task manager.

Here's a great tip for XP stalwarts (me!) who want to enjoy Windows 7's robustness while maintaining some UI familiarity:

You can disable Win7's taskbar app stacking and icon-only appearance by right clicking on a blank space in the taskbar and hitting "properties." Change the "Always combine, hide labels" dropdown on the taskbar tab to "never combine."

This will make running tasks appear as they do in Vista and XP.

Why on earth would anybody want the quick launch back when you can instead just pin the apps / icons to the task bar? The whole idea of the new taskbar is that you don't NEED quicklaunch anymore. Duh..
