The infamous Dev-Team dropped a big hint in the form of an image a few days ago that the hacker group was developing an iPod touch 2G jailbreaking app. Now, not only did the group confirm that the iPod touch 2G was the target device for redsn0w, but have gotten a bit closer to the goal. It seems that the process has been done but is still too manual for geeks like us. They plan on packaging and releasing a convenient GUI version shortly; no official ETA has been announced however.

Actually, it’s much better to get an iPod touch because for the iPhone, you’d have to pay a monthly bill whether you use it or not. If you get an iPod touch, the only thing you need to pay for are apps and songs.
In conclusion, iPod touch is better and cheaper than re iPhone…..

I choose the itouch over the iphone any day. Firstly i have a phone tht i can take with me everywhere and have unlimited txts and free calls, and i dont care about scratching the hell out of it. and i have an ipod touch tht i use for music and gaming and its insane!

after restoring 4 times, successfully jailbreaking it and then accidentally running a restore to an old snapshot and had to do it a fifth time, not to mention seriously considering the fact that i may have fux0r3d my ipod on more than one attempt, I got the tether up and running. I keep showing all the ppl i know who have ipod touches that i successfully h4×0r3d it. It’s not for the faint of heart, or a n00b, but it does make your ipod (which is already considerably awesome already) even more awesome.
