Metacritic is just an aggregator which pulls together reviews from respected critics. They don't review anything themselves. It's a good way to get a snapshot of what the critics are saying, and they link you to the full reviews when on the web. So what's the problem? Truth hurts, developers???? Oh, get over yourself.
