Judging from the reviews, it seems that if the mofo breaks they just send you a shipping label and send you back the cash you paid for the machine (minus their 23 bucks).

I bought a refurb from tiger direct about 1 1/2 years ago. The disc drive broke on it and i eventually sent it back…well got them to finally send me a box (microsoft) 4 months later… I think Microsoft extends all systems warranty for the 3 years from date of purchase.
