No need to get those overpriced Monster Cable HDMI doodads when the cheap ones are just as good! Meritline is offering two 6-foot HDMI cables (30 gauge) with gold tips (!) for six whole dollars and that includes shipping. They also have two 10-foot HDMI cables (ver1.3b males) for $11 shipped.

Radioshack sold it to me for $54 !!!
I then looked around at monoprice.com for about $5 and it was 10 feet!
Made a quick stop to Radioshack and let them have their stuff back :)

Amazingly enough, you can do better than that. 6′ HDMI cables can end up being about $3.80 shipped if you only need one.

I’m happy to see that you’ve worked to undercut the ripoff artists like Monster Cable concerning the value of overpriced digital signal cables.

There is NO BENEFIT to Monster’s overpriced cables -their claims about their products have always been suspect, but with digital signals their advertising is ludicrous and ignorant.

Readers should also acquaint themselves with Monster’s policy of attacking any small business that uses the word “Monster” in their name despite the kind of business. Noel Lee, president of Monster Cable, is a charlatan and disgusting small business bully.
