I knew I lived here for a reason! Seattle has moved to the top of Forbes’ annual “most-wired” American cities list, displacing Atlanta (of all places) and further cementing its unofficial title of Most Awesome.

The list is calculated based on broadband adoption and the amount of wi-fi access points in the city. It’s no big surprise that we ranked highly, this city being home to more startups, establishments, and tech juggernauts than you can shake an Eee stick at. Plus, we have to stay inside a lot, so…

Washington, D.C. also jumped a lot of spots, and with the capitol being in the state it’s in, it may be improved further by next year. Seattle welcomes the challenge.
