It will come out in June I guarantee this, they are going to wait to the last minute..new phones for sprint comes out on Sundays and normally on the 15 so we have either the 7, 14, 21 or 28 I know this is going to happen..like the CEO said they are working 24/7 and like other is saying the main focus is the iphone so they cant just come out with phones, the need programs to start out with so they both sprint and Palm are holding on for there last strings..so as the young kids say they have to come hard or go home and like others have said if they don’t hit a home run! then they are going to be out at base :) this is all logical information ounce you think about!

I’m a loyal Palm user & Sprint customer. I plan on buying the Pre as soon as it’s available, but does anyone know when that will be? I stopped into a wireless retailer in NYC last week to ask, and they told me the end of January…Obviously I can’t count on their help!

I can tell you first hand that no sprint retail employee has even touched a Pre, i know this because i am the advocate for my store and i will be the first one in the area to have it, and believe me i wouldnt be playing on my computer if i had a pre in my hands.

You must have lost your mind TheHold… Apple won’t and can’t sue Palm for “technology” that they did not create! Tim Cook was merely talking tough, was unwilling to mention the Palm company in his call, because they finally knows that the iPhone has been out done! The Pre will be released before Apple’s second iPhone 3G release this summer.

I doubt the Pre will ever be released: based on this weeks’ Apple conference call, the Cupertino bois will sue Palm into oblivion before the first shipment leaves the warehouse. Jerks.

“they’re all training on them! i know they have them back there”

That doesn’t seem to make sense for two major reasons:

The first being that Palm says both the hardware and the software are not final yet.

Second- Would they actually train employees now and expect them to remember everything by June when they first start to discuss them with customers? (No, that is not a comment about Sprint employees- it would apply to anyone.)
