@ Joe – while I agree with your points almost wholeheartedly, I do think it’s worth noting that Newegg, the site mentioned in the article, is a very good ‘web only’ company, with fast shipping, decent customer service and good returns policies. Personally for something like a TV I’d prefer to see it, and buy it, in person, even if I end up paying a little more.

The 32″ XBR6 is a great TV. Of course you can get a bigger TV for less, but I assure you it’s not the quality of a Sony XBR6. Everyone is always looking for a reason to bash someone else. Go ahead and get something off of a 3rd party web site and deal with all the bull you never want to deal with, like return policies, warranty, and CUSTOMER SERVICE! By the way, Best Buy also offers 3 years no interest financing on that package. If you want to buy a 32″ TV for half the price, they have those too.
