dreamGEAR’s WarBeast guitar controller is something wicked. I’m not into heavy metal or anything, but this thing looks badass and it’s life-size. I’ve never heard of B.C. Rich but they collaborated on the project and did a bang up job. The neck is removable and it has an enhanced strum bar and whammy bar. The Star Power dedicated button is a nice touch as well. And it’s wireless! The WarBeast goes for $100.

I would totally buy this if I was really that into Guitar Hero and/or Rock Band. My girlfriend and I own both games but she actually plays it much more than I do. I just prefer playing real guitar. I actually own a black BC Rich Warlock guitar. They are some of the BEST guitars I’ve ever played for really great prices. I got my Warlock for only $100 (it was on sale) and it sounds better than a $500 Schecter and a $300 Ibanez I’ve previously owned but returned because they could not compare to my BC Rich.
I might just get this guitar anyway. The next time my girlfriend and I have a BBQ and have friends over for drinks and drunken Rock Band (or Guitar Hero) I’ll shock and awe everyone by whipping it out (the guitar).
Yo I was looking into getting a BC Rich, possible an Avenge, but i haven’t actually tried one out myself. Is the sound really that much better? I’ve played with Ibanez and Schecters and really enjoyed them, but have yet to get my hands on a BC Rich. I know the Avenge is slightly smaller than the Warlock, but do you really think the sound is that much better?

mate i’ve owned 2 warlocks, a friend had an ibanes, another had a jackson, and a gibson, i still preffer my warlock to them, not just the shape that says im a badass metalhead but the sound, if you pay attention sounds really good, i compare it with real metal strings. not the sloopy sound some give
LAME!!!!111 Buy real guitar and start to learn!!!111 Guitar Hero and Rock Star Sucks gently. It’s just a waste of time. If you spend about $300 You can get a descent guitar that doesn’t SUCK like this one. PS Don’t buy BC Rich guitars Schecter Rulezz :P

BC Rich is a solid company, but a shitty BC Rich is a still a shitty guitar. My $300 Schecter Omen 6 ran circles around the low end BC Rich. There are good BC Rich guitars, as Slipknot uses them, but the cheap ones are awful.
