Meet Postkun, Japan’s cutest mini postman robot

I don’t know when and if mankind will ever get robotic postmen but I am sure that if, they will come from Japan, just like this mini robot recently presented by Tokyo-based company Kyosho [JP].

The little guy is called Postkun (Little Postman) and will be only available in Japan from the end of February to the middle of March as a limited edition (only 10 units will be produced). It can move in 30 different ways.

Postkun costs $3,500 and is – of course – Japan-only. The robot is technially based on Kyosho’s Manoi PF01, another mini humanoid the company developed two years ago (see it in action below).
