Popular Mechanics magazine has always been a source of all things geeky, and their story about the season 5 premier continues in the same vein. They cover in depth how real quantum theory has been applied to the show, and whomever the writers are using as a consultant, they can still spin a great yarn. At some point last year they interviewed celebrity scientist Michio Kaku, who had some really interesting things to say about what exactly Mrs. Hawking was writing on that chalkboard.
