There are many, many crazy alarm clocks available, all designed to rouse you from the sweet embrace of the sandman. Some make you run around the room chasing some rolling or flying component, some make you assemble puzzle pieces, and some just plain annoy the hell out of you. I can’t wait until the Smash Clock comes to market, so that we can finally beat the crap out of an alarm clock.
You turn the alarm off by literally smashing your fist into the soft cushiony top. Nothing like a little ultraviolence to get your day started right!

I have a white, long-haired cat that frequently sleeps in a ball. All I need is for this thing to go off, and in my sleepy stupor pound the wrong white ball.
Granted, I would probably wake up really, really quickly if I hit the wrong one…
