I’ve read on several sites lots of people are pissed about the delay of the switch. You know that is all well and good if you are ready. But those of us who are waiting on tax refunds to buy the damn boxes (yes we got the coupons) are a bit relieved. They send the coupons for $40 per box. The price of the box is at least $50, not counting the other $25 you need to buy the special antennae required for it to work. Now $35 per set might seem like nothing to you guys, but that is someone’s gas budget or food budget for two weeks. We make due until that little bit of extra comes in and allows us to join the rest of you in DTVland. So I will be thrilled when the law is officially passed.

I don’t think it is going to matter that congress extended the deadline. At least half the over the air broadcast in my area are still shutting down analog as planned on Feb 17.
