As long as it does not lose functionality. My current WinMo 6.1 is like a micro netbook as "cyber" mentions. Very useful when I was out of town this week. IE
-GPS to get me to my hotel
-web access with opera, web email and standard email.
-pulled the SD card from my Canon XSI and inserted into the phone to transmit high quality images to friends.
-Used the video cam in the phone to record meetings.
-Used the built in keyboard for short notes
-Used Bluetooth Laser keyboard for longer notes
-FTP client for transmiting big documents, pictures and videos.

Alot of this would have not been easy or impossible with a iPhone.

Am I the only one that dislikes the "honeycomb" design?

I dunno, I really rather dislike the iPhone's GUI, its just not for me.

To me, my phone is almost a micro-netbook, I like the current Windows Mobile design, puts all the info I need on the Desktop/Today screen, and I can operate the rest of it like a computer in my palm.

I undertstand this isn't for everyone... or hell, even for most people, they prefer a phone that just looks nice and doe sit's job without looking messy, they don't care about tweaking or tuning it or being able to install apps with custom settings and configure files, thats fine, I am a minority with wanting a phone like this after all, but I hope this will at least have an option to disable it.

I really hate having power user accessability removed for the sake of making the GUI look fancier and simplier for the common people, I have no problems with adding such changes, but give us the option to thurn them off.

... Hostly, the honeycomb thing just makes no sense..

And the green phone icon is identical to the iPhone icon, even the gradient and gloss. Plus the text alignment is off and other icons are blurry. Maybe the designers haven't made the final icons yet (Windows betas are like that too) but I find it hard to believe Microsoft would rip the iPhone icon even during development...

Is that last picture showing a Slide to answer and a slide to ignore interface? Why? Really. Apple has done that and even if you take some good ideas from competitors, why copy something as dumb as that. Be creative for once MS. Geez!
