Unlike most of the other writers here at CrunchGear, I’m not a 20-something. I have a kid, and that means that I get to give the parental perspective on things. Things like Roller Bears.

Some of the elderly out there may remember some toys from days gone by called the Weeble. While they were relaunched in 2000, the original comes from 1971 and had the catch phrase, “Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down.” These were great toys, and still are. If you want something a bit classier however, ze Germans have created something called a “Roller Bear.”

The Roller Bear is a handmade wooden toy, which rolls onto it’s feet whenever you try and knock it over. They appear to be available only in Germany, but no doubt you could import them if you were really interested. There is a whole family available, and you can get the set for about $70.
