Apparently if you work at LEGO, you get a miniaturized LEGO person of yourself with your contact info on the back. Then when someone asks for your business card, you hand them the figure. That is — how you say — outstanding. Never mind the gigantic bulge of LEGO figures in everyone’s pockets and the incessant noise that must fill every hallway at LEGO headquarters when people walk around, it’s the principle of the idea that makes it so wonderful.
It’d be fun to work at LEGO long enough to collect a paycheck and a sack full of mini Dougs, just so I can cross that off my list of things to do before I die.
Coolest business card ever [PositiveSharing.com via Geekologie/Wired]

Doug, as a larger person, or as my Wii fit calls me, obese, I can’t help but wonder if they make the “business cards” to scale based on the employee.
Sure, they’ll just give you a Duplo person. :)
I’d need to carry a “man purse” just for my business cards.
It’s a European Carry-all not a man purse. :)
it’s called a bag
Actually the official name is “messinger Bag”.. At least in the UK
I spent most of my pre-teenage years immersed in a giant bin of lego building spaceships, airplanes and large Mad Max-style trucks as well as creating vast evil armies to fight against an enemy that didn’t even exist yet.
This is, by far, the coolest thing I have ever seen. I have wanted to work at Lego since I was 9. I am now willing to work there for free.
Those are adorable. I love that idea. My youngest son had tons of legos and just recently gave them to a friend’s son. (my son is 22 now, so didn’t use them much anymore)

What a COOL idea! Although Instead of little business card holders, the employees will need to pull a little wagon around…. Or, imagine walking into some execs office, and there, lined up like that army of stone soldiers, is his or her own MiniMe army!
I hate to say it, but this has the word “New Trend” written all over it – let’s just hope the economy turns around so business’ can afford to do similar things. Might make working in a cube fun enough to stand.
This would be awesome to give out to people. They would definitely remember it.
Wow. That is such a great idea! I love it! The LEGO people are so creative. =)
