tron

So apparently there’s going to be a sequel to Tron, and it’s going to be called TR2N. Good news, right? Sure, okay. But even better news—Daft Punk will compose the soundtrack.

That’s right, everyone’s favorite French electronic duo not named Justice will be scoring the movie. Now, if I had ever seen the original Tron movie—the closest I got was that one Simpsons episode—then I’d know what I’m talking about here.

Anyway, here’s a chilling video about the truth behind Daft Punk. We really should ask for a congressional investigation.

  • Looks like I will not like the music in new Tron music.,,

  • Daft Punk FTW! I love daft punk, and the point is did they ever deny that they were doing covers of past artists?

  • Travis, watch Tron when you can get the chance. Doesn’t make sense to watch the new one and miss all the nostalgia. Great film.

On the point of Daft Punk doing the score, seems fitting for the duo. Hopefully the score will allow a darker, more cyberpunk atmosphere to this film…

  • Doesn’t get better than this…

  • daft punk did not cover the songs in the above video. its called sampling and there is nothing illegal about it. they had permission from every artist they sampled and it is documented in the booklets that come with the albums.

I love them regardless they are geniuses!!!
