It’s almost over, folks. The saga of Circuit City is about done as the company plans to shut all stores by March 8th. Some stores, including my old location of 3631, closed weeks ago. It all depended on the individual store’s inventory. If the store sold everything, there wasn’t any reason to keep paying the employees.

Regardless of random old gadgets still occupying shelves, March 8th is the last day you’re going to see the stores open. The last couple of days the stores might even be selling off fixtures and displays so it might be worth your time to snag some A/V switches, large speaker selectors, and other random crap for next to nothing. Hell, I got a whole stack of component video amps for nothing. Ebay!

    Hey Hey Hey

    GOODBYE

  • Circuit City got what they deserved. I’m glad all of the management lost their jobs. Nothing could have helped them. I’m so happy that Circuit City is being wiped off the face of the earth that I broke my wrist waving good bye.

  • it’s the end of circuit city finally they got what they deserved for mistreating their workforce ,the so called managers they hired where idiot’s who dint know what or how to encourage team work and good selling behaviors so ling circuit city good ridance

  • I nabbed a bag of Combos and an old-school looking telephone complete with custom Circuit City faceplate. Total? 6 bucks. It will be the last time I will ever visit CC. I saw it coming, but it’s still kinda sad to see a whole new round of unemployed people hitting the streets.
