Hey everyone, you know what day it is? Friday! Hurray! But not just any Friday, mind you. It’s Follow Friday! Okay, fine. Every Friday is Follow Friday in Twitterland, so it technically is just another Friday – but work with me here. Each Follow Friday, you’re supposed to recommend people on Twitter that are worth following, so as to spread the love and bring about world peace or something like that. Our Follow Friday recommendation: The CrunchGear staff! Want to get a regular dose of insight on your favorite CG writer’s life? Want to know what we had for breakfast? Read on to find out how!
- John Biggs (@johnbiggs): The head honcho. He keeps us employed and reviews sex toys. What’s not to love?
- Greg Kumparak (@gregkumparak): I get to go second because I’m writing this!
- Peter Ha (@thepeterha): He pretends to be angry, but he’s actually a lovable panda.
- Doug Aamoth (@daamoth): If he makes you laugh in his video reviews, you should see the wonders he works with 140 characters!
- Matt Burns (@mjburnsy): He’s 25, is married, and has a kid, but he still gets carded trying to buy lottery tickets.
- Dave Freeman (@frompkin): Read about the exciting adventures of his kid who sometimes convinces himself hes a cat.
- Scott Merrill (@smerrill): Ever tuned into the podcast and heard the voice that sounds like thunder? That’s Scott.
Oh, and you can follow the main CrunchGear account while you’re at it, I guess. Or you could just read the actual site. Or the RSS feed. Or subscribe to CrunchGear Magazine*!

well, since everyone is following everyone, why not follow me?
@ChrisHangsleben
Yes I will follow and why not follow me also!

FollowFriday has jumped the shark (but we can fix it)
http://faseidl.com/public/item/229791
#followfriday is borked – tweet after tweet after tweet stuffed full of names.
The way to fix it, in my opinion, is to use a hashtag to recommend people that actually works.
My pick is #worthfollowing. You can see why it’s broken, alternatives and why I think #worthfollowing is best on my blog http://isemann.posterous.com (just scroll down a bit mkay!)
