I’m still on the fence about the Watchmen, but I was fairly impressed by the opening credits. I actually think it was the best part of the movie. Heh. Anyway, if you’re interested then check it out.

Well now that I know it has lesbian whores in it, I’m
I GOTS to see it!
that was surprisingly good.
Well I saw the Movie Thursday at 12:01 AM, technically 3-06-09. I have to admit I did not know what to expect, is definitively not a KIDS movie. This is not X-men, and nothing close to Marvel comics.
I have to say… Brilliant writing, great concept, and the Movie is quite close to the novel. It deals with the humanity, hero or no hero is deals with the feeling we deal with. I am a Paramedic and I being called Hero, yes I have done heroic things in my career. To me is my job and I get well paid for it. But I am human and I deal with emotions like anyone else. This movies portraits heroics aspects of humanity. Is Highly entertaining, is long and slow paste but there is so much information given that will make scene in the end.
I loved . I understood it. Is a masterpiece, definitive a cult classic. I am glad I saw it first.
Alex, your comment is undeniably great. I felt the movie was very dark and depressing. Almost like What Dreams May Come. But I do think it is a masterpiece all on its own. It is brilliant in writing, in filming and definitely brings out emotions one tries not to think about. Would you kill millions of people to save billions? Would you kill a friend to save humanity? This movie had me really thinking of deep stuff. Something no movie has done in a long time.
I have to agree that these credits are probably the best part of the movie. Would that the rest of it told the story so succinctly. I really thought the movie was full of missed opportunities to touch on some of the more interesting parts of the book, replaced by extended scenes of added gore for no apparent reason.
Well, so far, I loved the opening credits. My family doesn’t want to see this soooooo . . .Will either wait for the DVD, or see it during the day, or at some group evening outing . . .WHO’S UP FOR WHAT?
