Now in addition to SMS and email messages, Peek users are going to be able to use Wordpress from their handheld, which makes it more and more competitive with smart phone devices, but a hell of a lot cheaper on a monthly basis then most data plans. I still have trouble with the idea of carrying two different devices just so I can get email, but the more I read about the Peek, the more I wonder if I should reconsider buying one.
Do many people actually own Peeks? They didn’t seem like something that would last that long when they first came out, but I might have to change my thinking about them. Seems like the Peek is turning into a fairly versatile device.

I bought one for my eight year old daughter. I didn’t want to get her a phone until I knew she wouldn’t lose it.
3 months later and she still uses it every day. She texts and email everyone.
Who does your 8 year old text?
I am really considering getting one. If they were to add an internet browser, maybe Opera, i would buy one in a minute!
If this thing could do Opera Mini, I’d consider dropping my cell all together. At this point, I rarely talk on the thing anyway.
