Oh, hi. More Apple rumors for you this fine morning. Reuters got word from a secret Wintek employee “who asked not to be identified because he was not authorized to talk to the media” that Apple has purchased 10-inch touchscreens. No one else commented, including Wintek, and this story is so convoluted now that I need to go look at some LOLCats.

We’ve been following this kind of garbage. since the early days of the iPod Touch and you wonder why the heck Apple just doesn’t fire Wintek and use someone else. Someone is clearly very displeased over at Wintek if they’re leaking so badly.

I’m giving this rumor a 75% probability in the next quarter.

  • I still think that a tablet / touchscreen laptop is a retarded idea. I think they have avoided it for a good reason… who really wants/needs one?

All I hear about is mac fanboys whining that there hasn’t been a tablet mac. But honestly… have any of them ever used another tablet notebook? While I’m sure that there would be some decent uses for a OS X based touchscreen crapbook pro, I don’t think the market penetration is there for such a device.

Whatever though. Some people will buy it just because it’s an Apple product. But, I’m hoping a lot of people wont.

And by the by… Lolcat pictures are always better than anything Apple.
