Dell has an okay deal on an XP-powered Mini 9 system at $279 with free two-day shipping. It’s the Alpine White version, too, which is normally a $30 upgrade.
All in all, you get $80 worth of instant savings plus the free shipping.
Other features include an Atom N270 CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB SSD, webcam, four-cell battery, and an 8.9-inch LCD at 1024×600 resolution.
The deal is only good for two days – it’s part of Dell’s 10 Days of Deals thing for March Madness.

I ordered a Mini 9 on 27 Feb @ $242. My order status is still In Production with a delivery date of 30 March! To their credit, they haven’t charged my card yet, but the other Dells I’ve ordered in the past would have been delivered by now. Maybe it’s because I added the optional Bluetooth contoller.
NAH
I ordered the simplest version at 199 (plus tax and ship) and the delivery date is 3/30. I imagine they might of had a gillion orders.
I’d rather pay the cheaper way, wait a little bit, and do all the upgrades my cheap self.
But if you missed out before this is still a good deal.
No I just have to master ubuntu before i mine is delivered…
