I think that complaining is very easy to do. Sure all things are impefect but you try to find the good in everything we do. la la la la laaaaa. I subscribed to the online service about a week ago which was down for a few days but i think it would be awesome to be able to listen on my iphone.

You and me both. They have turned Lithium into a carbon copy of “Lucy” from XM, which is basically another “90’s on 9″/The Pulse (channel 12). Pretty much the exact same music.

I could almost stand hearing The Goo Goo Dolls on my “grunge” station, but I heard Eagle Eye Cherry a few weeks back and that was it. If anyone at Sirius is reading this, you should know I’m a three plus year subscriber who will not be renewing when the time comes. I can honestly get better variety on the terrestrial stations around Boston than I can Nirvana – Alannis Morissette – Goo Goo Dolls – Nirvana – AiC – Soundgarden – Eagle Eye Cherry in rotation.

Why should I subscribe to censored Sirius XM? Mel is gagging Opie and Anthony in deference to Howard in 2009. Why should I pay for that shit. Mel, pull your nose out of Howard’s ass. You really need O&A.

Sirius XM already announced price increases starting 3/11, including $3 per month for online access for existing customers (no more free streaming).

Slacker Radio (slacker.com) blows Sirius XM away in regards to Music and Comedy (no talk or sports). Slacker is free, portable and cuctomizable. Slacker carries their own portable device (G1 & G2) and already has applications for iPhone, iTouch and BlackBerry at no cost.

Needless to say, Sirius XM’s efforts will not retain me as a subscriber. Rising prices, poor content (since the merger)…etc.

He said that according to a conference call yesterday, Sirius/XM is going to really ramp up efforts to market itself on iThings.

I see the value there, unless SiriusXM really starts charging to stream online to people already paying for an account. Then it seems stupid, to me at least. Either way, smart to move in this direction.

And for the record Nicholas, I don’t think their marketing pitch has to be/should be any snappier than what you said above. You’re right about the “Twitter generation” (God help us, I don’t know how people use that service)…keep it simple and convey the point in short, concise sentences. Or lose people’s attention.

I don’t understand what this article is saying. Did Sirius XM release an app or not? I can’t find one in the app store, and if they didn’t your title should say Sirius XM must turn to iPhone .
