The latest iPod shuffle is all about being chintzy (our hands-on here), which is great for accessory makers like Dexim. You see, they will make a bunch of coin selling this simple $10 USB adaptor to replace the little cable thing that comes with the new shuffle. There hasn’t been a release date announced yet, but you can plop down a pre-order now.

As much as i hate the I-pod shuffle models i have to say this new model really gives it a new look that is very appealing. and the new charger looks like it plugs into the headphone jack which is a very cool feature i can’t wait until they come out i mightjust have to buy one
So how is this different than the hundreds of similar looking ipod shuffle usb adapters you can find on ebay (and for a lot cheaper than $10). Just go to ebay and search for “ipod shuffle usb adapter”.
I bought a pair of these for my Shuffle 2G and it works great. For charging, are the headphone jack pins different for the new shuffle?
