If you long for the days of the 16-bit loveliness known here in the states as Sega Genesis – or across the pond as Sega Mega Drive – you may be interested to know that if you live in the UK, you can rekindle your love affair for £37.99.

Play.com has the Sega Mega Drive Console with 15 built-in games and support for the Mega Drive/Genesis cartridges. It includes two six-button controllers, too. The console is made by a company called “Blaze” and it’s not quite clear if it’s actually licensed by Sega or not, so let’s ignore that elephant in the room and hope it goes away.

And now, the built-in games: Alex Kidd, Alien Storm, Altered Beast, Arrow Flash, Bonanza Bros., Columns, Crack Down, Decap Attack, E Swat, Fatal Labyrinth, Flicky, Gain Ground, Golden Axe, Shadow Dancer, Sonic And Knuckles.

It’s up for preorder with a ship date of April 24th. No word on a US release.
