You’re Blizzard. You develop a little game called Word of Warcraft. You move into a new office building—a sign of your importance—and want to commemorate said action. You hire the dudes responsible for the Lord of the Rings special effects, and tell them, “Make us a big statue of an Orc on his mount, looking sinister.” And they do.
It’s 12 feet tall. It speaks Brazilian Portuguese. (Note: It does not.) Blizzard employees received a small version of it some time ago.
But it’s Horde, and Horde are jerks.

There are lots of brazilians who read this blog, and I know if one of brazilian blogs says something like this to here, there will be retaliation…
But, back to the article, it’s too interesting the statue, I really appreciate this kind of “colossal works”…
I will understand the Brazilian Portuguese joke like a language that it’s so hard to learn that only brazilians and Orcs could understand. Sorry if it’s a big problem for americans to learn portuguese. Really, you should try it! It’s beautiful and will help you to seduce brazilian girls. ;) .. hahah
I’m joking. By the way, I’m brazilian and a I like too much Crunchgear. Please, correct if I’m wrong about my interpretation of the joke.

Eu também sou brasileiro Rafael, apesar do meu nome não parecer nada brasileiro, eu sou de Roraima e moro no Piauí ;P
Eu também entendi a piadinha dos Orcs relacionada à dificuldade de aprendizado deles (americanos e estrangeiros per si) em aprender o nosso português, porém, é mais do que sabido que se fizessemos o mesmo, haveria realiação, infelizmente ;/
Sem contar que, muitos outros idiomas parecem muito mais com idiomas de Orc (orquicos?!?) que o o português… Finlandês, Polonês e vários outros de origem gótica (como o alemão e seus derivados…)
Enfim, só foi um toque que dei para eles, que qualquer país se sentiria de, uma certa maneira, insultado com uma carga de preconceito (não no sentido que temos no Brasil, mas em sua origem literal) como a que foi imposta…

I didn’t get the joke about Brazilian Portuguese. Maybe it was a very stupid joke or there’s a lot of prejudice in this blog.
Brazilians most of the time play WoW speaking in English at Ventrilo with american players and they dont even notice. We do a lot of effort to learn your language and what we see it’s that you are so mind closed to learn or even accept other languages.
That was certainly an unnecessary joke.
ive been reading everyones comments and havnt everyone got of subject a little, we are supposed to be talking about the statue not what a ork speaks. P.S. I love the statue, it would be awsome to have a Human Lock on oppisite side charging a shadow bolt or truning into Demon form.

I agree with you in the first paragraph, but If it brazilians making jokes about americans and english, probably you will make a lot of critics.
And the second paragraph, THE WORLD IS NOT DIVIDED BY RACES! Typical argument of a racist person.
