In this economy, Peek is dropping their price for one reason. How long do you think your Peek device has before it shares drawer space with your "CueCat"?

hmm, not sure who this product is aimed at. Kinda pricey for just email when there are plenty of alternatives out there. There's not even any SMS/MMS.

@johnreck, if you're company uses blackberry, a BES server will allow you to block web browsing. However, I can see a small/medium sized business may not have the resources to install/manage a BES but still want to limit access to just email.

I am looking into this because my company wants our mobile force to recieve just email through the phone. Currently they have the whole package which lets them surf the net. I think this definitely has potential for the right market

I've said it before, as soon as someone hacks this to allow web browsing, i'll be the first in line to buy one.

Costco sells the peek for three or four hundred dollars with life time e-mail.

So let's see...400-150=250/20 a month = 12.5 months = after a year you basically have no costs to use the Peek.

I looked into getting one but decided I'd want to access the web so I bought a BB Storm.

I'll wait and see if I use my phone more for e-mail or web browsing.
