Everyone’s favorite cable company (hehe) is working with silicon chip developer Redmere to develop a super-thin HDMI cable that can transmit at high speeds. The magic that Redmere is providing comes in the form of a chip technology that can maintain a 10.2 GB/s data rate while being super thin. How thin you ask? No idea. How much you ask? No idea. What do we know? The cable will be expensive cause it’s coming from Monster.

  • Whats the story with the truck here?
Seems like the story and picture don’t quite match!
I recall something a while ago about Monster Cable suing some company that had the Monster in their name, but I don’t know if it is the same company from this picture.

    • They’ve sued several companies that have Monster in their name. I think the only one they haven’t tackled is Monster.com because they’re the one company with the capital and legal team to defend themselves in court. Most of these other companies have no choice but to cave. This company sucks Chuck Norris’s taint.

  • I’ve bought some cables before, didn’t see much difference with other brands with video quality but the price… man it was a kill.
