Wouldn’t apple be at fault along with AT&T if they made a device that doesn’t integrate properly with an existing network.

There are other AT&T devices that are 3G that work just fine with the network.

If Apple can make an update to the phone to make the battery life more efficient on the device, youd think they’d make an update that would make the 3G processing speed more efficient as well… They’re both equally guilty.

I believe the reason Apple is named in the suit has nothing to do with the iPhone itself. I has to do with the fact that Apple also advertises AT&T services, including networks speeds. Since advertising that information helps Apple sell more phones, hey are liable for any misrepresented information.

So don’t worry fanboys, no one is talking bad about your beloved Apple or your beloved iPhone. You may return to drinking the koolaid now,

And being an iPhone 3G user from outside the US, I can tell you…you dudes have a sucky cellco, because even tho Telcel is nothing to brag about, I’ve never had the problems you ‘merkans seem to have with AT&T.

On the other hand….why is this Apple’s fault? It’s not like Apple has control over how much AT&T sucks (or doesn’t), do they?

But seriously, I hear more than a few of my friends bitch about the iPhone, so I’m left wondering, if it’s such an issue then get another phone (or, probably more accurately, drop AT&T, then get another phone). Problem solved.

Not much of a case except that lawyers get paid.

iPhone users can connect via Wi-Fi. Native apps have been optimized with the onboard graphics for fast access.

Web pages over 3G can be a little slow. More needs to be done to improve the browser integration with the graphics chip.

AT&T’s coverage is advertised. Yes, they are working to improve.

Why do we need lawsuits?
