I also upgraded the firmware and my IVO M1050 stopped working. Luckily I thought to copy the old files prior to upgrading and was able to get the IVO M1050 working again. I informed the iVO, but I doubt they will do anything about it.

Pro: It’s easy to copy files over to the M1050, and the mp3 player works perfectly.

Con: I can convert the video to Xvid and AVI, but syncing up the sound to the video has been troublesome for me. It often requires converting, testing, changing conversion settings and test again. The price is good, but I spend too much time trying to convert videos to work properly. Next time I will research the video players on ease of use more then worrying about the price.

Do you have the right firmware for this IVO M1050?

Doug, if I may. When you’re done playing with that thing would you mind sending it my way for a full fledge review. I happen to know a thing or two about those lil devils and I would love to share it on ebay er I mean on my blog. =)
