seagate_ba_nas440_frontSeagate announced a new product line today, the Black Armor NAS. Targeted at small businesses, the new device has hardware level encryption and is available in 2, 4, 6, or 8TB capacities.

Each device can be configured into a RAID style setup, which provides additional data security, however it does reduce the available space on the NAS. The device also provides for customizable backup solutions, including individual user accounts and password protection.

Available in May 2009, the devices will be available at your favorite retailer starting at $799 for the 2TB version.
