Messenger bag converts into a chair, leaves no room for your laptop

Oh my, this had the potential to be the most thoughtful messenger bag ever. Upon closer inspection, though, it’s basically just a chair that folds into the shape of a messenger bag, not an actual messenger bag with, say, a padded laptop compartment and room for other stuff.

It costs $130 from Hammacher Schlemmer, weighs nine pounds, and can support a 250-pound doughy blogger. There’s an integrated cup holder and the whole thing folds down to four inches thick. Now all they need to do is add a padded laptop compartment and watch this thing fly off the shelves. Maybe lop $100 off the price, too, while we’re at it.
