s010w_ov_keyIPEVO announced their new desk style Skype certified phone today. Designed for the “love Skype, hate the headset” crowd or people who need something that looks a bit more professional, the SO-10W is the latest addition to IPEVO’s product line.

Looking and functioning exactly like a standard desk phone, the SO-10W is wireless, at least as far as you internet connection goes. Obviously, you’ll still need power, but the phone is set up to use a 802.11b/g network. It functions completely independent of a computer, so if you need a solution for someone that’s a bit less technical, this might just be the thing.

Currently available from IPEVO’s site for $169.99, it appears to be in stock.

  • Ohhhh… I want one. Does anyone know of a Verizon Hub like desktop for a land line? I need a kick ass phone for my desk but they all look so boring.

  • Is this just a regular phone for Skype voice calls? No video? No internet browsing?
I do not see why paying +$100 for this product.

  • Are you kidding? lol

Most people use their computers for Internet browsing. Why would you even look at want a handset phone to do that for you?

People want this for precisely that reason, they want a simple phone without all the complicated crap that gets in the way when trying to do work. Or when making quick calls so they dont have to turn their puta on.

    Anyway…I want one too :)
