Originally released at $400, the Archos 5 is currently on sale for $279. It’s got an ARM Cortex processor, 4.8-inch 800×480 touchscreen, Flash 9/MPEG-4/WMV/MPEG-2/H.264 and 720p video support (with an optional $20 plug-in), 802.11b/g wireless, built-in speaker, and a full e-mail client and web browser.

You can also record TV directly to it with the optional $90 DVR docking station. All in all, not too shabby for an internet tablet especially given the 160GB of storage. See our previous coverage here for more info.
