Ever wonder what a person was thinking when creating a specific ad listed on craigslist? I do. Take this ad for a computer desk.
It features a picture – which is surprisingly rare in furniture ads for some reason- but the picture doesn’t exactly show the desk in question well. How am I, a potential buyer, suppose to figure out if this desk is right for me? Hell, you can’t even see the desk as it’s covered with piles of crap.
Ah, craigslist, you bring me more entertainment than things to buy.

Also, does anyone else notice the fact that not only is this place a bit of a mess but there is some sort of large rodent featured in the picture…Is that a guinea pig?
Check the “Best of” section on Craigslist. On the front page it’s on the left side. There’s some amazing ads in there.
some are short and down to the point like this one for instance.

And I bet he gets a few hits.
I was recently looking at some furniture on Craig’s list, and thought it was weird that people listed things with just all over the place.
I saw one with dirty clothes on the floor around a dresser, and another that was a pair of dressers at a jewelry store that was so covered with jewelery you couldn’t see the dressers and the seller even said you can’t see them very well in this picture so come to the store (was this really an ad for getting people to the store?).
It must have gotten switched with the picture from the add for “piles of crap everywhere.”
