Four new Apple commercials, PC fanboys ready flame comments

Microsoft is right in the middle of its Laptop Hunter campaign, but Apple’s got something for Gates & Co. with four more Mac vs PC ad spots. You know the subject too, PCs crash, have tons of legalese, and get viruses. The only ad that’s actually positive and points out novel Mac features is the one about iPhoto and its new Faces features. Watch all four after the jump.

    i’ll be the first pc fanboy, seeing as your looking for one. Yesterday i got a phone call from a friend, “Hey my mac is doing all sorts of weird things, what program can i use to check for viruses?”-friend “Macs dont get viruses there immune to them”-me
    (except for a press release in dec. stating that even though macs are less vulnerable, you should still have protection)
    Which brings me to my question is there a website that does online scan of your mac? Like Eset, Trendmicro?? Might actually be worth while knowing seeing as more people are switching to mac these days. (Which does mean there will be more and more viruses)

    Ok, pretty amusing…but I’m still a PC. You’ll need more than photo organization to satisfy my gaming needs.

    Let’s just ignore this thread and not post anything. It just shows we dont care about this dumb apple ad. I do however love the way the apple fan boys get when theres a thread thats pro pc. So lets show em we have more class and not start a flame war. Im leading this march right now.

    I’m a Mac and a PC. It is PC hardware all them new apples are running…

    I suppose they would get sued if they actually said. Hi i’m a Mac, and I am Windows.

    I will put my windows gaming rig up against anyones apple gaming rig…

    oh wait, can you even game on a mac with out emulation??? I can photoshop, and render video, video edit, and organize photos on my Windows machine and I have thousands of software titles to choose from.

    Where is the apple gaming machine?

    Can’t we all just get along? lol. I would have both if i could. My Mac to carry on the road and cafes and to do video/photo editing (and its nice and flashy) and some music, and my PC for hardcore gaming and other multimedia stuff when i’m home. There’s gotta be a balance.

    Am i alone?

    I’m the #1 windows detractor anywhere for the simple reason that IT DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY…
    But where’s the sense in buying a mac, if for its starting price you can get a powerhouse of a pc and install linux for stability / virus inmunity / and everything else apple offers you?
    Macs only serve two purposes:
    1. Showing off because macs are way cool in their design
    2. For people in the music / entretainment industry due to the powerful music-video-photo processing tools apple offers.
