Starting in May, a new Xbox 360 bundle will hit retail shelves dubbed the “Game of the Year” (or is it “Games of the Year”?) bundle. With such a moniker, we’d assume it’ll be an annual type of thing, but we’ll wait to see how this one does. This limited edition bundle comes with Halo 3, Fable II and an Elite Xbox 360 (120GB) for just $400. Righteous.
Update: Wondering if you can get his limited edition bundle in your region? Let’s ask Major Nelson.
I have confirmed that this bundle will be available in all regions that Xbox 360 is sold except those in Europe.

When did either of these games win game of the year?
I’m sure there was an internal vote in the Xbox division, Jack.
Heh, actually Peter if I may. Boy, you’re gonna laugh at this but well….. See Peter son Microsoft decided that the Game of the Year edition 360 was to compete with the PS3 price drop. Oh what, you didnt hear? Yes, this is a crunchgear first. Sony just told me that their PS3 price drop was coming soon due to the leaked rumors of the PS4. Sony never envisioned the PS3 to be their flagship console for this Generation of gaming hardware.
In fact it is safe to say that they only did it to try and saturate the market with Blue Ray players. Now Peter, in regards to 360 of the year edition. It’s plain and simple, dont buy into the hype. In fact dont buy any consoles period.
I for one feel like I got burned by Sony big time and will from now on stick to PC gaming. I always feel like a winner when I play Left 4 Dead, or TF2. I love me some pc games.
BAh..Where is the ‘Hail to the Chimp’ Edition?
