I know they're not drop-in replacements, esp. the WD, but at $99, and full 1080p, the WD is a slick little box. PCH adds DTS & networking (although I hear hacking is underway on the WD to allow networking via a USB adapter). To be competitive in this market, it's gotta be $199 or less. Expect to see these on Woot, FatWallet, etc... by the holiday season. Plus, if Netgear still continues with their "made in India" engineering trend, we can expect the thing to lock up & crash several times a day. Hmmmm…. for that price I could get 4x WD TV HD media players, or 2x PCH boxes.
